A Ferris State University grad and Jackson Transplant, Ryan has had an exciting career in construction and education that led him into the advertising world. Having spent the last 16 years in project management, he is intuitive and resourceful. Ryan has a toolbox full of tricks that he brings to each project, solving marketing problems big and small. His MBA in leadership is the perfect match for our RJM team. When he’s not at work, you can find him spending time with his wife and two adopted sons. Or you might just find him around Jackson as he serves on the board of Cascades Humane Society. He has also served on many other community boards including the Jackson Commercial Contractors Association, Jackson Chamber of Commerce, and Jackson Area Transportation Authority.

As the next President to take over the helm at RJM, Donovan is looking towards the next 40 years. With a background that blends both the strategic and the creative, he continues to oversee the work within the agency. Starting his career at RJM, he’s been involved in award winning campaigns for clients such as the Michigan Department of Corrections, County National Bank, Great Lakes Caring, and Broadmead, among many. A Jackson native and father of two, Donovan gives back to his community by serving on a variety of boards over the years such as Junior Achievement of the Michigan Edge, MCAN, and MIS Cares. Even with a background in web design and development, Donovan maintains an undying love for manual transmissions.

Having worked at RJM since 2008, Andrea serves as our Marketing Specialist – our jack of all trades – thanks to her extensive background and experience in the advertising industry. Andrea spends the majority of her time handling Google Analytics, managing digital advertising across multiple media channels, and curating content for clients like Broadmead, Krupa’s Boat Mart, Jackson Oven Supply, and TAC Manufacturing. Her analytical skills come into play when she creates monthly reports gauging the effectiveness of digital campaigns and providing strategies for improvement. When not working, this long-time resident of Jackson’s countryside enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, daughter, and four “fur babies” – all of which are rescues.

As the copywriter for RJM, Katelyn has a knack with words that has brought many gold awards home to RJM. Her previous experience at Heart of America Group in Moline, IL prepared her well for the transition she made into the advertising field with RJM. With Heart of America, she managed social media campaigns and organic social content, as well as developed print and radio campaigns for a number of in-house restaurants and hotels. A Michigan transplant, Katelyn has quickly grown an appreciation for the Jackson community, so much so she adopted the highway that runs along her family farm.

As the graphic designer and videographer for RJM, Erica has a creative mind that penetrates all forms of media she produces – digital, print, and video. Having graduated from Grand Valley State University, she is well versed in website design, typography, and digital photography. A strong supporter of the Jackson community, Erica enjoys attending local events and learning about the rich history of the area. When she’s not exercising her creative abilities, Erica is probably spending time with friends, family, and her two dogs, or visiting her mom in Florida.

As our Administrative Assistant, Marie goes above and beyond to help the office run smoothly. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband exploring the Jackson area, discovering new places and seeing her hometown from different angles than before.
